Costa Coffee & PureGym Opening Soon…
Costa, the UK’s favourite coffee shop has announced that it is opening a brand new store in Motherwell Shopping Centre.
The new Costa will be located in a prime position on the corner of Brandon Parade South at the main entrance to the Centre from the car park.
It will create 15 jobs for the local community when it opens in mid-July with the successful applicants going through Costa’s rigorous training programme as baristas.
The store will have seating for 110 customers, with Costa’s traditional mix of tables, chairs and sofas indoors, and an outdoor seating area for 25 people facing the South car park.
The Motherwell Costa store will be operated by Costa’s leading franchise partner, Cuppacoff SC Ltd who have a proven track record in delivering outstanding customer service and building great management teams in store.
Cuppacoff said: “We are really looking forward to opening our new store, and bringing the full Costa experience of great coffee, food and drinks served in comfortable and relaxed surroundings, to Motherwell”.
A Costa spokesperson said: “Costa, the nation’s favourite coffee shop are pleased to announce that we are opening a brand new store in Motherwell in mid-July.
“The store will be run by one of our franchise partners, who will do all that they can to integrate the new store with the local community, getting involved with events; providing the store as a meeting place and helping with fundraising.”
News that Costa will arrive to give Motherwell its only major coffee chain outlet has been welcomed by local fans of the world famous brand.
Lesley Cormack from Motherwell who was shopping in the Centre with her son Andrew 16 said: “I think this is really good news as I am a Costa fan.
“It’s surprising that Motherwell doesn’t have any big name dedicated coffee shops at the moment, so it will be great to have a Costa here”.
Alison Crisp from New Stevenson said: “I really like Costa coffee and I think this is a brilliant site for their new coffee shop. It will be the first thing you see when you arrive at the Shopping Centre”.
